Job Overview: CommonHealth Recovery is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to provide and oversee patient care in our Medication-Assisted Treatment program. The ideal candidate must be a licensed APRN in the state of Kentucky with an active NPI. They should have demonstrated leadership abilities, interpersonal and communication skills, superior organizational skills, and computer fluency. The candidate should have professionalism in all communications internally and externally and be a team player with high adaptability. They must have the ability to improve with feedback and constructive criticism and demonstrated commitment and compassion to patients with substance dependence.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide medication-assisted treatment including initial evaluations, induction on Buprenorphine, and follow-up care to patients within the center.
- Involvement in complex patient decision making, e.g., regarding medically compromised or complicated patient care, determining if a patient requires a different level of addiction care, assisting in the discharge determination process.
- Collaborate with Medical Director and interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure appropriateness of care.
- Knowledge of any significant matters affecting the individual clinic, including but not limited to threats made against the clinic, compliance concerns, or death of a patient under the clinic's care.
- Complete clinical notes at the end of each workday and co-signatures regularly.
- Maintain all licenses, certifications, and credentialing materials allowing for continuing practice at CommonHealth Recovery.
- Collaborate with AODE Administrator regarding program questions and improvements, whose primary role is evaluating overall performance of the center for optimal performance between all departments.
- Any and all other tasks or projects, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed APRN in the state of Kentucky with an active NPI.

Schedule: One or Two Days Per Week (10-20 Hours), 40-80 Hours Per Month. Potentially more if mutually available, based on availability of practitioner and organization.
