We are a Homes Plus care facility in Newton in need of an on-call nurse to help care for our Residents. Applicants need to be a team player, self motivated, responsible, and have the ability to multitask and work independently. Competitive pay offered as well as the opportunity to help others in a unique environment. Our two homes together are licensed for 15 Residents.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Weekend on-call OR Evening and night on-call Monday through Friday
Passing medications and administering insulin
Basic medical documentation
Responding to emergencies when on-call
Covering shifts or assisting with finding staff when on-call
Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
Current license in Kansas
Geriatric and Dementia experience preferred
Able to establish rapport with Residents and their families
