The Dynetics Group at Leidos has an opening for an Operations F&BO Director to support the Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) Operation. As a core member of the team, you will play a valuable part in supporting and executing a wide range of projects and programs within Dynetics. This is a critical and impactful role that will leverage your extensive financial operations experience to serve as Finance Business Partner to the Operation’s Leadership Team and be responsible for managing all aspects of financial performance to include Revenue, Operating Income, Cash, Indirect Rates and Backlog.

The F&BO Director will be a direct line leader of the Operation’s finance staff and will be responsible for the organization's talent development and performance management. We’re looking for a collaborative manager with outstanding leadership skills and an ability to be a persuasive change agent when required. The ability to recruit and motivate a high-performing team is critical. The position will work closely with Accounting, Contracts, Pricing, and other functional organizations and must proactively manage key Government customer relationships.

Recurring responsibilities will include:

  • Providing valuable data and strategy to the Operation’s leadership team to support operational decision making
  • Provide leadership in program cost and schedule management, budget development and analysis, and EACs
  • Direct the establishment and maintenance of a system of business management controls to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and financial goals; develop and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts
  • Provide financial leadership to new business opportunities to include business case analysis and creative solutions for winning proposals; interface with senior leadership on programmatic and business related activities providing innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Pricing strategy leadership over the Operation’s new business, re-compete, and take away captures and on contract growth proposals
  • Manage the Operation’s financial forecast and risks/opportunities
  • Lead the program finance analysts to develop and maintain program Estimates at Complete and perform overall portfolio financial management
  • Manage CAPEX budget capital requests for the Operation
  • Program financial performance issue identification and resolution and financial reporting
  • Indirect rate development and analysis
  • Growth & Development of first line leaders and financial analysts
  • Periodic interfacing with internal and external auditors

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 12+ years of progressive responsibility in diverse finance roles, including accounting, treasury, program financial management, and financial planning and analysis.
  • Balance sheet and cash management experience to understand net cash position on major programs
  • Working knowledge of financial management of overseas operations, including treasury nuances, accounting, and currency hedging
  • Strong knowledge of CAS, FAR, and GAAP
  • Experience in managing large and complex organizations, including teams that are geographically dispersed
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA and/or MBA is a plus.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $128,050.00 - $197,000.00 - $265,950.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
