As an Operations Leadership Coach at Schreiber Foods, you will work closely with Plant Managers, Operations and HR Leaders to support the Operations front line leader roles by coaching practical leadership principles. In order to best develop front line leaders, some coaching will also be necessary for higher level leaders. The ultimate objective of this role is to optimize the Partner Experience by developing leader competencies.

What you'll do:

  • Improve people leadership processes within front line leader roles by coaching practical application.
  • Provide individual coaching for development of talent pools.
  • Plan strategically with Plant Managers and leadership teams to support people development needs by location.
  • Enhance consistent understanding & application of leadership best practices, Company policies, Partner Qualities, training & development, total compensation and benefit packages, performance management, and other HR processes.
  • Train and upskill leaders in practical use of HR training tools & Partner Development offerings such as Production Leadership Guidebook, Front Line Academy, Diversity & Inclusion, 6 Critical Practices, Situational Leadership, Speed of Trust, EQi, Lessons in Leadership and Leader of Leaders, 7 Habits, Partner Essentials, etc.
  • Coach consistent aspects of Schreiber Culture (Passionate Partners, Brilliant at the Basics, Customer Obsessed) & Values (Caring, Partnership, Ownership, Excellence, Simplicity) including partner engagement, building trust, enhancing teamwork, resolving conflict, supporting Business Resource Groups, & Doing Good Through Food (community giving).

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelors Degree in HR, Business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of Human Resources Operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • 7+ years of experience leading, coaching & developing leaders
  • 7+ years of experience in each of the following skills: hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, implementing HR policies & procedures, on-the-job training, classroom training, HCM systems, HR data analysis, benefits and compensation administration, performance assessments, performance improvement plans, development plans, talent review, succession planning, progressive discipline administration, terminations & offboarding, employee relations, labor relations, employment law, acquisitions and expansions.
  • Proven track record of continuing HR education & staying abreast of changing employment laws and best practices.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time and to work remotely 50% of the time
  • Ability to rapidly build trust and credibility with partners at all levels in the organization as an HR leadership expert
  • Ability to lead by example and walk the talk
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
