St. Luke’s Boise operating room (surgical services) is seeking an Orderly. This position is a great introduction into healthcare and surgery for those interested in learning about surgical equipment, procedures, and
processes. High paced, team oriented environment. No experience necessary with on the job training provided.
Responsibilities:

- Prepares operating rooms with needed equipment and ensures all equipment is working properly.
- Assists with the setting up of the operating room beds and helps with the positioning of patient if needed.
- May transport patients and floor beds to their assigned rooms.
- Transports equipment, specimen, supplies, and medications.
- Assists with cleaning of the operating room.
- Cleans equipment and maintains storeroom.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
