TRAVEL IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
We are part of a dental and Orthodontic group. Our Ortho team travels between our 6 locations through out the Kansas City area. There is no experience required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Pay will be determined based on Ortho experience. We generally see 80-100 patients per clinic day, so being able to learn quickly in a fast paced environment is a must. Candidate must be available to work 1/2 Sat's a month & 30-40 hours a week, a team player and great with patients. Our Ortho assistants duties are as follows, but not limited to: Bonding our Ortho patients brackets, change out Ortho wire (adjustments), take records, x-rays, impressions, pouring up models, familiar with tooth numbering systems, stocking supplies, following Osha & Hipaa.
What the job requires:
- BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH & SPANISH IS A PLUS!!!
- Setup patient operatory and equipment prior to patient appointments, including sterilization
- Follow the doctor's treatment plan for the patient
- Chairside orthodontic assisting including reties, arch wire changes, and bonding/debonding
- Taking orthodontic records such as x-rays and photos
- Cleaning and restocking work area
- Availability to work at least one Saturday morning per month (8 AM - 1 PM)
- Ability to work some evenings
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
