Position:

Helena Outdoor Wilderness Learning is currently looking for an experienced female outdoor summer camp guide for the 2023 season. We are an outdoor day camp that is based in Helena, MT utilizing the surrounding mountains, rivers, and lakes daily for our activities. This position will lead campers (ages 9-12) with another guide on all daily adventures throughout the summer. This year’s activities are hiking, biking, rafting and swimming. You will get to learn about all the trails and swim spots in the Helena area and get to be outside all day.

Qualifications:

Female

18 years of age or older

Current CPR and Wilderness First Aid Certification (before June 19th)

Current and Valid Driver’s License

Previous Outdoor Youth Leadership Experience

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Must be able to comfortably be outdoors all day

Strong passion for getting youth outdoors

Must have access to a bike

Job Type: Seasonal, full-time (June 12th- July 14th)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM

July 5th - 7th three-day, two-night camping trip Wednesday - Friday

Time-off:

July 4th & 5th

June 15 & 16

Pay: $440-500/week depending on experience
