A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PART-TIME INTAKE REPRESENTATIVE

As an Intake Representative, you are the first point of contact for our clients. You speak with clients either in person or over video conferencing, always ensuring a positive experience by maintaining confidentiality, providing the necessary forms, and assisting in completing the forms accurately. Your warm demeanor shines as you greet clients, confirm appointments, inform them of documentation they will need, verify identification, and ensure they meet our eligibility requirements.

Using your supreme organizational skills, you keep track of online documents in Dropbox as well as assign tax returns to the appropriate tax preparer based on their certification level. You keep our in-person tax site in compliance with all IRS and host requirements, check that IRS posters and materials are visible, and manage all supplies. You feel great knowing that you are an integral part of our tax team!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR PART-TIME INTAKE REPRESENTATIVE

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of experience in the tax preparation field
• IRS Volunteer Standard of Conduct AND Intake and Quality Review Process certification
• Strong knowledge about personal income taxes and tax law
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer skills

Management or supervisory experience is preferred. Being bilingual in English and Spanish would be a plus! We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with great communication and organizational skills. Our ideal candidate will be great at prioritizing multiple tasks and always following up.
