Job Summary


The Graduate Accounting Programs and Finance Graduate Programs offices at the Kelley School of Business seek to hire 2 Part-Time Administrative Assistants for the summer to support their office and project initiatives.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Coordinates internal and external meetings, logistics, and hospitality
  • Supports communications and calendar management
  • Performs other general office tasks as assigned
  • Provides administrative and basic transaction processing support for projects, programs, and events
  • Helps set up, tear down, and work events such as orientation
  • Processes transactions in university systems following standard guidelines and procedures
  • Purchases office and program supplies via BUY.IU catalog order or approved vendor p-card
  • Enters BUY.IU requisition for non-catalog services such as guest speakers
  • Makes decisions within established guidelines and policies
  • May coordinate schedules and shared workstation space for other part-time or student employees

Qualifications


EDUCATION

Required

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 2 years of releveant experience

Preferred

  • Some experience in an office environment

Working Conditions / Demands


This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
