JOB SUMMARY


Our Parts Sales Representatives take parts orders via phone, fax, and internet to support our customers and dealerships. They also assist in determining the correct parts needed, and resolving issues when the wrong parts are received


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

  • Take parts calls via phone, fax, and internet
  • Track urgent or late packages
  • Work with the Accounting department to maintain customer account information
  • Assist Engineering with maintaining accurate part numbers and descriptions
  • Filter and publish price lists to our dealerships
  • Complete Material Return Authorization (MRA) paperwork when defective or incorrect parts must be returned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE


Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess basic electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Possess a basic understanding of technical drawings
  • Able to work with others, questioning back and forth, to determine the correct parts required
  • Must be highly motivated self-starter that can handle stressful situations
  • Ability to work independently, with excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • Comfortable interacting with customers from the lowest level to upper management
  • Two years Parts Sales experience

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Two year business degree preferred (or military equivalent)
  • Experience with pipeline inspection equipment (CUES preferred)
  • Proficient in mathematical calculations (discounts/percentages)

WORK AUTHORIZATIONS / SECURITY CLEARANCE / ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Post Offer Background check and drug screening required

WORKING CONDITIONS / WORK SCHEDULE / TRAVEL

  • Normal work hours are 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri.
  • Maintain excellent attendance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent and repeated computer keyboard usage
  • Prolonged sitting
