Patient Care - Medical Assistant (Aesthetician)
Up to $60,000 to start plus full benefits
Tuesday through Saturday
As Medical Assistant you will:
- Join a specialist in high-tech medical devices for aesthetic and medical applications
- Support patient care operations for the new medical spa and surgery center
- Receive complete training
- Prepare exam rooms
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Collect patient information and take vitals
- Provide guidance and instruction to patients
- Answer questions and address inquiries
- Setup procedure trays, instruments and equipment
- Clean exam rooms once appointments and procedures are complete
- Provide additional clerical, administrative and patient services support
- Participate in front desk activities
- Perform document review, document control and document processing activities
- Assist with scheduling processes
- Sign patients in and out
- Take, enter and process payments
- Ensure the center remains neat and orderly
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- Patient Care / Medical Assistant experience
- Surgery Center, Surgical Office and/or Medical Spa experience
- Patient Information gathering, Evaluation and Triage experience
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
Pluses:
- +++ Aesthetician / Aesthetics experience
- +++ Medical Assistant Certification
- +++ Illinois Aesthetician License
- +++ An Advanced Degree and/or related Training/Certification[s]
