Shifts typically run 6:30am to 1:30pm / & / 12:30pm to 7:30pm.

• Full dollar raises are given according to merit. Typically we do not give fractional raises like most other area kennels, but do full dollar raises based on performance.

Healthy Hound Playground is an upscale dog daycare, boarding, and grooming kennel facility located in Sterling, VA, Northern VA (NOVA) and Rockville, MD. We are looking to hire folks whose personalities and work ethic will match the high standards we have set for this innovative dog daycare. You will enjoy working here if you love dogs and are diligent about following direction.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Oversee 10-12 daycare attendants at a time, and ensure rooms are properly staffed and running smoothly.
• Work closely with Pet Care Supervisor
• Assist reception with dog checkin/check out during am and pm rushes.
• Introduce new dogs into the pack, then contact owners to give them a review.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed by staff.
• Check in regularly and work closely with the Pet Care staff.
• Oversee walks.
• Identify issues / communicate & resolve with management.
• Interact with customers in a mature, professional manner.
• Daycare in the rooms.

Petcare Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently in an oftentimes busy department.
• Responsible for taking care of boarding dogs that are with us overnight.
• Track and record all belongings, feedings, and medications.
• Preparing, administering, and tracking all feedings and medications.
• Take care of "No daycare" dogs during the day.
• Individual one on one time, walks, and treadmill runs for "No daycare dogs".
• Tracking and caring for any potential health issues.
• Provide "Meet and Greets" for potential "No daycare" dogs.
• Interact with customers in a mature, professional manner.
• Ability to work closely with daycare staff and assist when necessary.

• Attention to detail when completing tasks and marking forms to track feeding, walks, and medication administration
• Able to act quickly when needed for the welfare of the dogs
