Physical Therapy Aide - Part Time

CAM Physical Therapy and Wellness Services LLC. is a growing Physical Therapist owned private practice with a new location in Newark, Delaware. We are currently looking for a part time Physical Therapy Aide in the evenings. Candidate will need to be an independent, self-starter that can work in a challenging fast-paced environment.

We are currently hiring for all of our locations.

Candidates must have flexible and open availabilities Monday - Friday

Spanish speakers are a plus!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment, aides Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant during the administration of treatments and monitors routine treatments.
• Assists patients to meet their needs before and after treatments.
• Safely secures patients into or onto therapy equipment.
• Safeguards, motivates and assists patients performing therapeutic exercises and functional activities under the direction of professional staff.
• Assists patients with their routine treatments and escorts them to and from the treatment areas.
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Utilize clinic duty checklist, complete tasks of daily duties, daily cleanings, weekly cleanings, and monthly cleanings, maintaining overall cleanliness and neatness of the clinic.
• Accurately complete the clinic duty checklist at the end of the week and submit to the Clinic Director for their signature.
• Utilize risk management checklist, complete daily tasks of ensuring the safety of clinic and clinic equipment.
• Organize supplies closet and order supplies as needed.

• Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all patients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with patients, co-workers, and managers.
• Exceed patient’s expectations by promoting the highest quality of care in a friendly and encouraging environment.
• Continually utilize professional communication skills and a team approach.
