The Growing Tree and The Growing Tree II are looking to hire full time PreK Teachers! Being a full time PreK teacher is working with children at the ages of 4 and 5 years old, helping to prepare for kindergarten. Preparing a child for kindergarten includes teaching self-help skills, basic letter/ number recognition, phonemic awareness, proficiency with basic writing skills, and much more. Mastering these basic skills within our PreK classrooms, help to motivate the student and give them the skills they need for a successful kindergarten year!
Applicants are required by the state of PA to have at least 2 years of childcare experience with references, obtained a high school diploma/ GED, pass all current state clearances, and have an updated physical/ TB test.
Hours of center operation are:
West Point Location- Monday through Friday 7am-5:30pm (724-832-1180)
Frye Farm Road Location- Monday through Friday 630am-6pm (724-539-8909)
*Employee shifts are typically 9 hours, with one hour unpaid lunch.
Staff benefits include:
