Position Title/Role: Production Control / Specialist

SUMMARY
The Production Control Specialist is responsible for managing all areas of the Production plan/system, BOM, EC and Comprehensive plant management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
[Production Planning]
- Initial point of contact for Customer production plan
- Monitor production plan changes, irregular order and inform other department
(Schedule, JPH, Shift plan, Volume, Working hour and CKD / Pilot car order)
- Production plan adjustment with customer as needed (in case of logistic, production, quality trouble)
- Maintain EDI process < --> MUA) and conduct contingency plan when trouble with Broadcast
(Material Release, JIS Preview, JIS Broadcast, JIT_VPDD and data change/delete)
- Maintain Work order Process and production information in MES
(Line assembly code, Broadcast data, foolproof barcode key data, VPD data, working time pattern)
- Maintain JIS Lead time information (CTS process, Docking station, Delivery Lead time)
- Maintain capacity information
(Daily max capability, Machine cycle time and number – AGV, wheel aligner)
- Collect and maintain production index in MES, ERP or manual
(Actual vs planned, working time, Hour Per Module, Down time, OEM Line stop, Production CUM, Inefficient expense, Scrap cost, Line assignment efficiency, Over time)
- Monthly/Weekly production report (Production index analysis and improvement)
- Maintain production index system data accuracy (System vs Actual)
[Plant Planning]
- Plant planning (Making irregular plant comprehensive report)
- Maintain Plant information and index
- Korean headquarter requirement response
- Support/perform special project as necessary
[BOM/EC Control]
- Initial point of contact for Customer Engineering Change include BOM
- SAP Material Master management – create part numbers and maintain info
(MRP view, Work center, Routing, Production version, Standard cost, Module no)
- Monitor incoming EDI for brand new parts daily
- Maintain SAP PP Module process and implementation
(LTP, MRP, PIR, Backlog, Production result adjustment complete/component)
- Maintain production BOM in SAP/MES (Part no, Material information, Effective Point Information)
- Material consumption tracking for material closing and inventory accuracy (weekly, Monthly)
- Maintain and distribute PART LIST MASTER to all department
- Able to track material history for obsolescence or gain/loss items
- Follow up with IT team for SAP system improvement in user stand point
- Coordinate EC implementation with all plant departments
- Manage EC part changes (EC alert, 1st sequence recording, EC communications internal/external)
- EC info management (participate internal/external EC meetings, track upcoming EC)
- Maintain EC systems (G-EPI, SAP)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry-specific experience required
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Analytic skills in engineering drawing
- Skills to use CATIA program (drawing system)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial System Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Experienced in automotive assembly/manufacturing
- Working experience with Daimler
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
None
Working Conditions: Office setting, some walking within plant
95% in office environment, 5% in production environment
Travel to customer as needed
Weekend overtime to support inventory audit when needed
Working late as needed to accomplish objectives
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
