OBJECTIVE: The Production Planner is responsible for planning all operational pre and post production activities to stay on time to schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans and communicates pre and post-production activities to ensure production runs on-time to schedule and meets scheduled milestones.
  • Analyzes manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
  • Works cross-functionally (Planning, Production, Finance, Quality, etc.) to assist in establishing easily assessable data for established metrics and measures.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data basic techniques and procedures.
  • Promotes and follows policies and procedures; reporting and suggesting needed changes.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other related duties as required including standard and non-standard documentation development and organization of execution.
  • Assists with maintaining and balancing inventory, resources, and capacity.
  • Identifies concerns and constraints and communicates with the production team to propose solutions.
  • Assists with developing and maintaining planning bills of material and planning databases by working closely with the Master Scheduler.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and all other regulatory requirements, in accordance with company policy.
  • Adhere to company safety requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications and experience within a Manufacturing Resource Planning system (Sage Mas90 preferred).
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Confidentiality.
  • 1 - 2 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Detail orientation with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Report writing experience.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Excellent project, time management, and math skills.
  • Experience in a FDA regulated facility preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently required to sit and walk.
  • Frequently required to walk up and down stairs.
  • Frequently required to talk and hear.
  • Occasionally required to stand.
  • Regularly lift and/or move Finished Goods and Raw Materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision ability including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

This is an on-site position at our Spokane, WA facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
