Summary of Role:
This is a significant role in the positive customer experience with Trelleborg Marine Systems. Work will be conducted in accordance with Trelleborg client contract requirements, as well as Trelleborg company procedures and policies. Develop, prioritize, and submit expertly drafted formal documentation in accordance with the project requirements. Supervise and maintain 3rd party supplier bids & purchase orders. Coordinate with local production team on schedules. Keep management group closely advised of related schedules, risks, and opportunities. Coordinate with international and domestic logistics agencies. Conduct regular evaluations of supplier proposals against established project budgets to achieve efficient mix of price, delivery terms, and overall quality. Coordinate multi-discipline activities and inputs throughout the finished good procurement cycle, from the development of an inquiry, execution of project specific purchase orders, and verification of delivery. Maintain full costing activities and trackings throughout the production cycle including assisting with Production Reports. Supply key support as a team member and provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external clients.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Prioritize, scrutinize, and deliver, formal documentation associated production, logistics, and timely delivery of Trelleborg Foam marine fenders. Including coordination with the BV factory and product line sales on scheduling of production of foam fenders to ensure timely delivery per contract and agreed with customer.
- Take ownership as project lead upon completion of project kick-off. Including submittals, execution, delivery and collection.
- Introduction to customer project team members as main PoC.
- Communicate, Outline of project execution plan & brief production plan (EXW) / align delivery expectation.
- Regular (as agreed) project status updates. Advising and working with Customer project team on any changes in schedule.
- Coordinate/manage project requirements, such as:
- Lead times
- Deliveries
- Project specific marking and stenciling
- 3rd party testing
- Shipping marks and special requirements
- Ensure photographs are collected and transmitted to customers as the need arises.
- Coordinate shipping and documentation as the need arises for project.
- Ensures that all required documents such as quality and CoC and warranty are issued to customer in a timely manner.
- Ensure satisfactory delivery, acceptance and customer sign off.
- Solicit References and installation photographs.
Education and Experience:
Level of education: High School diploma (minimum), Associates degree (preferred), 4-year University degree (highly preferred).
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years manufacturing production office experience. Strong technical competence and ability to read technical drawings and technical specifications.
Communications: English language (Required).
Proficiencies:

- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Handles all work flows in Organized & Detail Oriented manner
- Proven track record of Diligent, Timely & Reliable performance
- Basic negotiation and contract administration skills (preferred)
- Motivated and ready to be trained (OJT)
- Familiarity with Procurement activities and processes (preferred)
- Familiarity with Shipping and Logistics activities, documentation and processes (preferred)

- Location Berryville VA.
- 100% In-office position (M-F)
- Local / US domestic travel may be required on occasion (rare)
