Job Overview:
Scheduler needed to work at project site in Richmond Ca. to develop / maintain master project schedule. Integrate subcontractor schedules for capital projects, maintenance projects, turnarounds, and OSBL tanks/equipment into the master project schedule. Organize planned work orders in a formalized manner from the released stage to the scheduling stage or backlog.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Create resource loaded Project/Maintenance schedules using Primavera P6.
- Ensure schedule quality and utilizing Acumen Fuse
- Projecting Manpower & Headcount (mobilize & demobilize). Develop and maintain histograms.
- Publish weekly and three week lookaheads of upcoming work to key stakeholders.
- Attend daily/weekly planning meetings with management and subcontractors to discuss future work to be planned and roadblocks from past weeks backlog.
- Assist Maintenance managers in keeping schedules current and accurate
- Formulate detailed plans for project completion integrating multiple plans and schedules for all craft personnel into a Master Schedule.
- Tracking significant information, progress and results. Coordinate with program management and subcontractors to track results (KPI's) and make adjustments as needed.
- Develop Work Breakdown Structure to organize schedule data in logical manner
- Must complete field verification of contractors progress against schedule
- Interface with client and stakeholders to facilitate questions and meetings
- Inspect documents for accuracy against policies and procedures
- Produce status reports and coordinate with various departments to obtain information for weekly status updates
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years industrial construction/maintenance experience
- 5+ years of Scheduler experience.
- Strong P6, advanced Microsoft Excel & Acumen Fuse experience
- Bachelors degree in construction management or equivalent
