We are rapidly expanding, and as a result are looking for a talented, passionate, and dedicated individual to join our team as our new Purchasing Specialist/Buyer! It’s very important to mention at the onset that this role requires a dedicated and attentive individual who can take responsibility for working in retail and supply chain businesses to procure various materials for the company’s products; spend time researching and finding suppliers that produce quality items within the business’ budget.

This position will require ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of purchasing, as well as relationship building to develop new business opportunities.

This role is onsite at our warehouse located in Londonderry, NH.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
• Track inventory and restock goods when needed
• Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
• Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
• Assist the Procurement Manager with daily operational duties
• Follow a daily route while being thorough and efficient
• Build Relationships and create new business opportunities
• Work with other departments on the team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics or Supply Management
• Procurement experience is a plus
• Certifications like CPP or CSCP are an advantage
• Ability to plan, delegate and evaluate progress toward goals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must understand price points and be able to negotiate effectively
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Great ability to work in a team and ability to organize work according to the objectives
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Capacity to handle multiple requests simultaneously
• Excellent computer and technical skills, proficiency with G Suite, strong Excel skills
