Kidney Specialists of Southern Nevada (KSOSN) provides comprehensive kidney care and a full spectrum of kidney disease management resources for residents of Southern Nevada. Our care team educates and empowers patients who are living with kidney pain, infections, stones, and other kidney problems. With this exciting opportunity you will be joining a seasoned team of 50 Physicians and Advanced Practitioners, as well as 70+ team members across eight office locations.

We are looking for a dynamic per diem Rad Tech/X-Ray Tech to join our growing Ambulatory Surgical Center team. Surgical center hours are Mon to Fri, 7:30 am to 4:30pm and Sat 7:30 am to 12 noon. Must be available for shifts during these hours.

This individual will assist the clinical team with vascular access procedures, maintaining a sterile field and providing support during before and after procedures. In addition, this position will cross train as as a Scrub Tech as well.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation and post-procedure clean-up, operating the C-Arm, scrub-in for procedures, clean and sterilize tools and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies.
• Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and provide assistance in transporting patients within the center.
• Participate in community education activities regarding access center.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum one (1) year experience in general diagnostic, special procedures or cardiac catheterization.
• Associates degree in science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• AART certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
