Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging RN

Location: Strong Memorial Health, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642

Pay Rate: $97.50/hr | $3510/wk

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Imaging RN to join our team at Strong Memorial Health in Rochester, NY. The Diagnostic Imaging RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care in the diagnostic imaging department, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and effective patient care during diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, CT, and ultrasound
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, and report any changes to the physician and interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan
• Educate patients and their families on diagnostic imaging procedures, and prepare patients for the procedure
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications
• At least 2 years of recent RN experience in Diagnostic Imaging or Critical Care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Shift Pattern:

This is a 13-week contract position with a shift pattern of 3x12s (36hrs) on a rotating schedule of days and nights.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay rate for this position is $97.50/hr, with a weekly salary of $3510. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance and a referral bonus.
