Warehouse Receiving and Custom Check Ins
Compensation: $14.00-$18.00 DoE
Duties
- Custom Game and Custom Fish check ins and pick ups
- Freight check ins and paperwork management (assigning lot numbers based on the Julian date system and keeping all freight on a FIFO- first in first out- system)

Preparing frozen commercial fish for production needs
Working with production supervisors to rotate commercial meats for commercial sausage production
Rotation and putting away of spices
Rotation and putting away of packaging supplies
Building Styrofoam boxes for wholesale and custom shipments
Sawdust management for smoke producers
Maintenance of Alaska Sausage Co plant/grounds
Cleaning and organization of freight trailers, Conex trailers, and freezers
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with Company GMP’s and SSOP’s
End of the production area sanitation spray down
Cleaning of front entrance floor mats
- Other duties as assigned (stocking styros in front room, assisting in quarterly inventories, assisting retail with heavy objects, packaging custom game/ custom fish orders for shipment, etc.)
Requirements
- Forklift certification (Forklift certifications may be provided by and obtained by Alaska Sausage Co.)
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
