This position is full - time (40 hours / week). Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers and government entities
• Analyze and identify trends and provides reports as necessary
• Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 2+ years of experience in claims recovery and resolution
• Moderate proficiency with computer and Windows personal computer applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word (create and edit documents), Microsoft Excel (create and edit spreadsheets), and Microsoft Outlook (manage emails and calendar)
• Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Reside within 60 miles of Las Vegas, NV
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
