Optimum Specialist is currently seeking Full-Time Recreation Therapists to work a 6 month assignment at Correctional Psychiatric Facility in CALIFORNIA; with possibility of extension or permanent employment.

- Vacaville, CA |Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday 7:30AM - 5:30PM or 8AM - 6PM
- Ione, CA | Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
- Tehachapi, CA | Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 5:00PM
- Corcoran, CA | Tuesday - Friday 7:00AM - 5:00PM
Job Duties for Recreation Therapist:
- Develop and implement specialized recreation therapy services to CDCR Patient-Inmates
- Participate in the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT)
- Evaluate recreation therapy needs for Patients-Inmates with particular attention to activities of daily living, communication skills, physical exercise, and positive coping strategies.
- Other duties, as assigned by Institution.
Requirements for Recreation Therapist:
- 1 year experience as a Recreation Therapist
- Active NCTRC or CBRPC Certification/License REQUIRED
- BLS from (American Heart Association)
