This position will oversee all Gravity Haus Operations. Therefore the position is remote, but with expected travel to the various locations, residing in Colorado is preferred and ideally in relatively close proximity to one of our current operational locations (Steamboat, Vail, Breckenridge, Winter Park, or Aspen.)

Job Summary

The Gravity Haus Regional Director of Hauspitality is responsible for managing the overall operation and presence of Gravity Haus within multiple locations. This position is directly responsible for the operational integrity and financial performance of all activities on-premise at the locations. This includes supporting and guiding hiring and retaining colleagues, training, maintenance of the property, guest service, food and beverage oversight and overall financial performance. The correct candidate must have a “can-do” approach and is responsible for the overall administration and success of operations. This position will directly oversee multiple properties.

The Regional Director of Hauspitality will be responsible for supporting growth, development, budgeting, forecasting, marketing and revenue targets in all areas of the hotel operations and Food and Beverage.

This role will support strategy in driving local membership growth & retention, Haus service, local event development and overall employee/member/guest satisfaction.

The Regional Director of Hauspitality reports directly to the VP Operations.

Job Description

The Gravity Haus Regional Director of Hauspitality is responsible for performing and completing the following job functions to the highest standard:
  • Monitor and review daily revenues, labor and monthly profit and loss statements, analyze results and take action where needed.
  • Perform regular walks of the properties to make note of deficiencies and ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Protect the asset with ensuring appropriate Preventative Maintenance is performed.
  • Focus and drive all KPIs
  • Drive topline and manage bottom line to maintain profitability and growth
  • Provide hands-on leadership to execute and direct all operations with special attention to fiscal responsibility and exceptional member/guest experiences.
  • Coach and develop all leaders.
  • Weekly communications with your GM direct report
  • Monthly visits to the properties at a minimum with team meetings while there
  • Constantly seek to drive quality, systems and performance results
  • Assist in positioning, marketing and lead property revenue management strategy
  • Develop quality controls and KPIs quarterly and ensure all team members know
  • Monitor all standards to ensure they are enforced
  • Ensure you connect with your team and People and Culture regularly to review staffing needs, morale and disciplinary situations
  • Control expenses responsibly
  • Ensure daily operational procedures are carried out consistently and to standard of Gravity Haus.
  • Actively look for ways to reduce waste and overall reduce the overall environmental impact of all operations.
  • Manage oversight of project management for any construction or renovation projects
  • Oversight of all member benefits and programming relating to your location: Haus Quiver,rHaus, F&B, Catering F&B and Dryland
  • Strategize, manage and grow group business
  • Support and grow direct bookings
  • Ensure ongoing training and education monthly for team members
  • Work with partners and the internal marketing team to increase the opportunities for press coverage, social media influence, and other forms of paid and unpaid marketing.
  • Exhibit strong communication throughout the guests, members and community partners
  • Ensure all accounting is timely and responsibly processed: vendor invoices, payroll, reimbursements, filing, copying, etc.
  • Act as a professional leader of the business, culture, and community at all times.
  • Assist in all areas of the operation on an as-needed basis.
  • Be familiar with the entire Gravity Haus family of businesses.
  • Form strong positive working relationships with management personnel.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by senior leadership.

Job Requirements
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • 7+ years of experience in Hospitality Leadership.
  • A strong appreciation and interest in outdoor recreation, health, and wellness.

  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to adapt roles, responsibilities, priorities, and schedules effortlessly.

  • Able to work as many hours as the business demands and be willing to maintain a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • College degree preferred / work experience considered.
  • Experience in fast-pacedp environment required,
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

This role comes with a high degree of flexibility, with the ability to work from any location but being based in Colorado is preferred. However, given the nature of the role, you’ll be expected to visit properties regularly to connect with team members and ensure they are feeling supported, assess service quality and engagement levels, and execute training.
