Weekend Rotation: Every other

Floating Requirements: Med/surg units and overflow units

Patient Service Area (PSA): Central Wisconsin

Must Have 1-2 years’ experience as RN Tele Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled communication, leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Will provide care on the inpatient nursing unit, orthopedic and neurovascular patients along with med surg.

Minimum Experience: 2 years

First Time Traveler: Upon review

Beds: 29 (4 chest pain and observation)

Patient Types: Med/surg

Mandatory Skills: MS skill set

Certifications: BLS, NIHSS

Floating: MSU (Travelers first)

RN to Patient Ratios: Day- 1:4; Night- 1:6

Tech to Patient Ratios: 1:8

Telemetry Monitoring: Yes, centralized with teletech

On-Call: No
