Registered Nurse, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit - Full Time - Morristown Medical Center Job at Atlantic Health System
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work varied shifts 3 - 12 hour shifts including on-call and every 4th weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required 
- BSN preferred
Minimum Experience:
- 1-2 years of PACU, Critical Care or High Acuity Emergency Room experience.
License/Certification:
Valid New Jersey Nursing License
- BLS Required
- ACLS Required
- PALS Required (or within 3 months of hire)
