As a Residential Manager you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential home where the people, we support live.

Exempt positions; 40 hours

Rate: $1,085.00 per week.

Monday 10am - 6pm, Tuesday 10am - 6pm, Wednesday 10am - 6pm, Thursday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 8am - 4pm.

What you'll do in this job:

• Establish and oversee day to day operations of the site and ensure delivery of residential services of house.
• Support the unique personal desires and needs of the individuals at the site, encouraging them to become a self-advocate.
• Ensure the Direct Support Professionals are assisting each individual in knowing their personal strengths and worth and sharing these traits with others in various community settings and support them with making friends.
• Work in a professional and ethical manner establishing a trusting relationship with the individuals and the employees at the site and assist the individuals in achieving maximum success by developing a mutually respectful relationship with the individuals and their circle of support.
• Support healthy living practices including diet, exercise, stress reduction and emotional support, medical and dental practices.
• Follow all training, safety and reporting procedures.
• Assist the individuals in maintaining a comfortable and orderly home by teaching them within the scope of their abilities home cleaning activities, care for clothing and minor repairs.
• Support individual's independence in utilizing personal funds. Accept responsibility for all individuals' funds, financial benefits, and petty cash during shift.
• Maintain all records and ensure completion of all required documentation.
• Supervise and evaluate all direct support professionals at site.
• As needed, provide medication support to each individual at the site.
• Participate in the development and review for each individual serve plan and that each person is successfully supported towards meeting their stated outcomes and goals.
• Safely operate and maintain agency vehicles.
• Directly supervise an assistant manager and up to 15 direct support professionals and ensure all required trainings are completed. Ensure that all staff are familiar with all safety measures and procedures for on-site and off-site activities and provide support via their Behavior Plans (as applicable)
• Encourage and support the individuals living in the home (7-8) to take part in volunteer, educational, recreational and work activities in the community.

What we need from you:

• One year of prior supervisory experience
• Two years' experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• High School Diploma or GED (now called TASC)
• Exceptional written, communication, and computer skills
• Preferred Two-year degree in Human Services
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to be certified in all required trainings.
• Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
