Wendy's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to cover the Savannah area restaurants to service refrigeration and HVAC equipment as well as maintaining restaurant cooking & preparation equipment. Technicians perform preventative maintenance on all types of commercial restaurant and HVAC equipment. The technician troubleshoots and diagnose refrigeration, HVAC, and cook equipment to ensure the proper repair and operation of all makes and models of equipment.

Experienced Restaurant Maintenance Technician: Experience is preferred but not required.

Three years of relevant experience

Required Skills:

• Refrigeration

• HVAC (Roof Top Units)

• Ice Machines

• EPA Certified

Responsibilities:

• You will diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate systems.

• Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment.

• Follow established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service.

• Maintain general facilities in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.

• Ensure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.

• Ensure that preventative maintenance schedules are followed.

• Assure that work areas are clean and equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored before leaving such areas on breaks or for end of week.

• Consistently strive to improve work skills with respect to the core responsibilities.

• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.

• Operate and repair a wide variety of maintenance equipment.

• Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers, restaurant staff & vendors.

• Willingness to learn service techniques for additional restaurant equipment.

• Able to perform all physical tasks associated with the position.

• Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
