Senior Contract Engineer

Oshkosh, Wisconsin - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will support the USMC Platform team as a Senior Contract Engineer. Candidates should have experience in mechanical design relating to frame components (weldments and large assemblies), design for manufacturing, and heavy equipment. In the engineer role the individual will be expected to design components, coordinate with cross functional teams, and be able to follow Oshkosh Engineering procedures for routing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). The candidate will also be required to engage with the build process for vehicles and support vehicle testing.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization. .

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 3-5 Years of Experience working with automotive/heavy machinery.
• Vehicle experience- does not have to be defense vehicles, any type of wheeled vehicle will suffice.
• Strong design experience.
• Ability to be onsite in Oshkosh, WI full time.
• Ability to travel 10%.
• Experience working in a cross functional team environment.
• Technical writing skills.
• Experience with public speaking (will interface with government officials).
