Senior Engagement Manager Job at Equity Trust
- This position will be located in our Westlake, OH office but eligible for a hybrid remote schedule.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Manager, Marketing Engagement leads efforts to communicate and connect with clients and prospects to grow interest, consideration, and contribute to the goals for new business sales and client growth. This role leads content strategy management and execution, providing an elevated brand voice across web/video content, email, and social media. This leader finds and leverages brand advocates to spread our message to new audiences, searches out opportunities to increase thought leadership, and drives positive sentiment with our client base.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Develops and implements clear social strategies and brand voice to support customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across the business
- Develops and oversees an integrated content strategy that aligns with overall marketing objectives
- Owns the content calendar and develops engaging material across the entire customer journey in partnership with subject matter experts throughout the organization; supports other thought-leadership content development and public relations
- Leads the strategy to scale email marketing lead generation and conversion efforts as it relates to engaging & automated nurturing cadences for new leads and existing customers
- Leads team and strategy around social media including content scheduling, monitoring, and responding to comments, direct messages, and other inbound communication from social media
- Reviews and approves the production of blog content to support and promote our industry thought leadership, expertise, and product offerings and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email
- Grows engagement within our base of prospects and clients by providing them with regular, helpful content that is aligned with their needs and interests
- Develops email strategy regarding acquisition, nurturing, post sales, client retention, and integration.
- Manages agency relationships related to email, social/influencers, and paid media.
- Analyzes data to determine best course of action for future campaigns and optimizations.
- Provides support on internal and external communications as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 7 years of professional experience in marketing
- Prior leadership, email strategy, content and social media experience
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
- None Required
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Marketo)
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram) in a professional or promotional capacity
- Experience analyzing and interpreting campaign performance and ROI

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
