The Job:

Working with stakeholders within and outside IT, the Architecture function ensures that a common technology architecture framework is defined and adopted across the organization. The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team are responsible for both shaping the longer-term direction of technology used by the business functions and playing an active role in ensuring that programmes & projects move us in that direction and assuring the delivery of good quality, fit-for-purpose solutions. The EA team are highly collaborative and work across a broad range of stakeholders, both in the business and within IT, to build understanding and ensure alignment on key decisions.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To shape and manage future direction of the technology architecture, with a primary focus on the Finance Technology Domain functions, by:

• Working closely with Finance colleagues to build and maintain valuable and productive working relationships and ensure that the needs of the business are met
• Developing and maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture principles, standards, patterns etc.
• Working closely with Solution Architects and other senior IT designers to ensure appropriate architectural drivers for programmes & projects are understood and considered.
• Provide input into the selection of vendor solutions highlighting strengths, weakness and strategic alignment making clear recommendations.
• Development of the Finance domain technology vision and strategy and serving as the 'go-to' expert within the Architecture team for that domain.
• Ownership of the relevant domain strategy and vision, providing guidance and support to the technical architects in the delivery teams.
• Represent the needs of the Finance technology domain with other Enterprise Architects.
• Contribute to the development of technology strategy and architectural policy, both within focus domains and more broadly.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong enterprise architecture skills, particularly in aligning strategic business requirements and the IT architectures & roadmaps needed to deliver against them

• Strong experience in one of the Applications.
• Experience operating with different IT delivery approaches such as agile, waterfall, iterative etc.
• An understanding of total cost ownership of IT assets and functions.
• Have a good appreciation of solution architecture, software and solution delivery practices, IT infrastructure, Application or Integration architecture.
• Familiarity with patterns, practices and frameworks of Enterprise Architecture.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $100.00 - $140.00 per hour
