What you'll do


As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for cost management activities within the IT Global Business Office. These responsibilities will include the: review and approval of operational costs contained within business cases and sanction papers and the tracking of said costs into departmental budgets. Additionally, the role will have the opportunity to develop and implement processes across the IT function that improve the management of operating costs by cost center owners. This is a highly visible role that involves interaction with all levels of IT and Finance Management and will provide exposure to the financial operation of a Global IT function. Key responsibilities include the following:
  • Continuously track and evaluate the performance of forecasts against budgets
  • Integrate data from multiple primary/secondary sources to produce requested or required data elements and analyses
  • Regularly examine data reports / templates to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
  • Create reports that provide insight into key data points for business cases / strategic plans
  • Develop reports and deliverables for management and communicate with all levels of stakeholders

What you'll need


  • A BS/BA degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Technology/Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience as a financial or business analyst
  • The ability to use Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts
  • Excellent SAP data extraction / reporting skills

It would be awesome if you had


  • Excellent SharePoint skills and familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable extracting insights from large data sets
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communications skills
  • IT industry experience

Salary
$89,000 - $110,000 a year
Please be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation ("DOT") covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company’s testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.
