Senior Property Manager I Salary Range: $97,905.60 - $119,308.80
Senior Property Manager II Salary Range: $107,827.20 - $131,352.00
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in this classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.

The Airport has a rigorous and accelerated airport property management program for highly qualified candidates who have demonstrated the ability to successfully manage a complex property management program and supervise staff.
The Senior Property Manager I/II position manages the day to day responsibilities of the Airport property management program, including customer relationships and contracts administration. Under the direction of the Principal Property Manager for the Airport, this position supervises negotiations and the concession proposal process conducted by property management staff. Supervising the Property Manager I/II staff, this position establishes and maintains communication with community resource agencies, tenants and other property executives regarding Airport properties and serves as a liaison between groups and City administration officials.
This position requires expert knowledge in airport property management, airline operating agreements, concessions agreements, tenant leases, tenant licenses and permits, real estate development, concession development in an airport environment, contract provisions, airport leasing laws and legal procedures, and rate setting methodologies. The position also requires a strong understanding of FAA regulations, aviation industry standards, State statues, City Ordinances, expert negotiation and interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills.

Education and Experience
Senior Property Manager I: Bachelor’s Degree in airport management, business administration or related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in airport property management.
Senior Property Manager II: Bachelor’s Degree in airport management, business administration or related field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in airport property management, including one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Acceptable Substitution
Additional qualifying experience as described above may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of 2 years of the required education.
Required Licensing
- California Driver’s License.
- Airports Council International - Concession Management Certification or equivalent required within six (6) months of appointment as Senior Property Manager II.
Employment is contingent upon your clearance from the Airport's Background Check Process.

This Airport position requires a background check and a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) check. The candidate must be fingerprinted and qualify under all applicable TSA and Airport regulations.
