As Senior Residential Supervisor, you will support your team in enhancing the lives of the individuals we are privileged to support!

In your role as Senior Residential Supervisor, you will ensure that all the needs of the people supported in FREE’s IRAs and ICFs are met while working in partnership with each team.

Specifically, you will:

· Direct oversight of the Residential Supervisors and other team members in their role and responsibilities & cover Residential Supervisor duties.

· Ensure that the rights, health, safety, and personal outcomes of the people living in the program are always being supported.

· Advocate with the people we support in a variety of situations.

· Work in partnership with external providers (employers, day services, etc.)

· Interview, hire, develop and retain high quality staff.

· Prevent, recognize, and report abuse toward the people we support.

· Ensure residence and individual finances are balanced and in compliance.

· Manage team members’ time worked in the residence while ensuring there are sufficient team members to meet the needs

· Ensure all team members in the residence are fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of their positions.

We require:

• OPWDD experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience and at least 1 year working with individuals with disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential.
• Excellent communication, and proficient writing skills.
• Clean, Valid NYS Driver’s License and satisfy criteria to be a driver for the organization.
