SERVICE MANAGER

Salary Range: $90,000-$130,000 per year

As the Service Manager, you are responsible for the customer-focused and efficient operation of the dealership's Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, recruit, develop, mentor, counsel, and retain great talent
• Direct and schedule the activities of the service team
• Engage and motivate the service team to achieve key goals and objectives
• Monitor and control the service department's performance using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and customer surveys
• Implement strategies and action plans to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Support a team of technicians at all levels, and abilities
• Ensure quality workmanship

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of automotive service management experience (would consider 5 plus years of service writing for a candidate that can also exhibit leadership qualities)
• A proven track record in building and developing high-performing teams
• Team-oriented and hands-on leadership style
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer proficient, both with DMS and Microsoft Office programs
• Be a dedicated, energetic, team player
