We have an opening for a Shift Leader/Shift Supervisor for Front of House or Back of House at our Castleton Square location.

The work schedule for this position varies to include opening, mid-day and closing shifts. Scheduled shifts will be between the hours of 9:00am – 10:00pm Monday – Saturday, we are always closed on Sunday’s. Shift Leader/Shift Manager Job responsibilities include:

• Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder in a “hands on” management position
• Build a high performance team and develop them with coaching, training and accountability and leading by example
• Serving guests by taking orders, handling cash and credit cards, making drinks and desserts by offering an immediate and respectful response to all guests needs
• Delivering meals to guests at their table, vehicle or to a designated pick up area, and provide excellent customer service at all times
• Stock sauces, cups, lids, etc. as needed to maintain throughout your shift
• Effectively manage and lead a team of people serving our guests while maintaining our operating standards to provide the best hospitality and guest experience
• Making deliveries or bank deposits
• Coaching, teaching and training team members on policies and procedures and create a positive work environment for everyone
• Maintain a work environment that ensures the highest level of food safety and cleanliness standards for our team and guests

Shift Leader/Shift Manager Job requirements include:

• You must be hard working, team oriented, friendly, honest and have great customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be available to work rotating shifts and on Saturdays- time off can be given for special requests
• Have at least 6 months to one-year previous management or leadership experience in a restaurant or similar work environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a source of reliable transportation
• Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
• Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
• Mobility required during shifts
• Must work well under pressure
• Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
