** Solenis is offering a $1,000 Sign on Bonus to the person hired in this role! **

General Function and Scope :

Provide service for effective and efficient Warehouse operations.

Principal (Essential) Duties :

Pick stock for shipping by material and batch number using the Warehouse Management System, checking for accuracy and cosmetic defects. Load and unload trailers and accurately count product. Drive various types of moving equipment (i.e. forklifts, etc.). Accurately receive materials from outside vendors and customer returns. Occasionally contact trucking companies for pick ups and delivery scheduling. Operate various types of equipment used in shipping of product (i.e. stretch wrapper, scales, FedEx machine, etc.). Label materials as necessary. Help with physical inventory and cycle counts when necessary. Practice good housekeeping in warehouse.

Other (Non-essential) Duties :

Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner, following all company policies and safety regulations. Perform other duties and assist other employees in Water Treatment with their tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Education - Job duties require reading, writing, basic math including decimals and fractions and the use of various measuring devices and scales. Training and obtaining a license to operate a forklift.

Experience - It would take someone with the above qualifications approximately six weeks to learn the procedures of this job and learn the storage locations of various products.

Responsibility for Equipment or Process – Failure to perform daily vehicle checks or point out problems with these checks to the supervisor could result in damage to the equipment. Other shipping equipment should not be damaged under normal use and care.

Initiative and Ingenuity – Judgement must be used to identify product and judge the quality of the containers. Minor decisions are necessary to operate moving equipment in a safe and acceptable manner.

Physical Demands - Depending on the warehouse location, this job may require lifting up to 55 pounds 40% of the time, rolling and maneuvering 500 pounds of product, or very light lifting.

Responsibility for Material or Product – Failure to catch problems with product containers could result in costs or replacement of damaged or lost product and might result in customer ill will.
