KKW Trucking, Inc. is a premier provider of transportation services in the Western United States. KKW provides over-the-road, dedicated and local truckload transportation services using ~400 tractors and 1100 trailers. KKW is a 60-year-old 100% employee-owned company and is looking for new talented associates.

SHOP ADMIN I- Pomona, CA

Job purpose

The shop assistant aides in the clerical and administrative needs of the shop

Work Schedule MONDAY-FRIDAY (MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-4:30 WITH EVERY OTHER SATURDAY COVERAGE 8AM-12PM)

Duties and responsibilities

1. Answer phones

2. Communicate with dispatch/drivers when truck is ready

3. Purchase orders-entering

4. Invoicing-entering

5. Filing

6. Scanning

7. Entering warranty invoices and EFS invoices

8. Admin coverage on Saturday

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job.

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Effective phone etiquette skills
• Moderate Typing Skills
• Familiar with AS 400
• Knowledge and familiarity with Excel, Outlook, Word, required
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Proficient people skills – Daily interaction with other office personnel, mechanics, drivers and vendors

Working conditions

• Employee will be working in a mixture of office and shop environments
• The shop environment will include noise from tools and repair equipment
• Special working conditions cover a range of circumstances from weekend work, working outdoors, and working with challenging tow companies, road repairmen, drivers, vendors, and so forth.

Physical requirements

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for long periods
• The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally 25 pounds.
