We’re looking for an amazing Shore Excursion Reservations Agent to fill this role. This is a remote-based, work-from-home position. You’ll be responsible for answering incoming calls from guests and travel agents for shore excursion-related inquiries for Holland America Line and Seabourn as well as completing and confirming reservations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls and accurately enter bookings into reservation systems according to company standards.
• Respond to email inquiries.
• Communicate special needs of guests on tours to ships and hotels
• Work with department Supervisor and Manager to ensure that all services are secured for each guest booking
• Works with reservation staff as a team player in accomplishing department objectives.

Requirements

• Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel).
• Speak in a clear and understandable voice. Strong verbal and written skills.
• Familiarity with Webres, MXP and/or Polar a plus.
• Ability to type at least 45 WPM
• Strong sales, interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to positively interact with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to work independently in a demanding environment.
• Minimum one year sales, customer service and/or office experience including customer contact via telephone and email in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attendance, including shift, breaks and lunch schedule adherence.
• Flexible in terms of scheduling and overtime.
• Customer service resolution ability
• Knowledge of Holland America Line and Seabourn products preferred.

• Base Hourly Range: $14.47 to $19.52. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base hourly is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
