Social Media, Marketing and Community Engagement Coordinator
The Geneva Business Improvement District is a growing non-profit and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team.
We are seeking a Social Media, Marketing, Community Engagement and Events team member. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and highly organized with great time-management and prioritization skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
- Create and curate engaging content (text, image, and video)
- Manage social media account by monitoring and responding to comments and messages
- Create a local events calendar hub.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports to management
- Create and execute marketing campaigns (digital, print, radio, earned media, press releases)
- Collaborate with the team to create marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Collaborates with the team to coordinate all aspects of events including logistics.
- Ambassador to our downtown district, providing relationship building strategy, program coordination, and evaluation systems.
- Assists in setup and running all events.
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- This position occasionally requires long days, the ability to lift 45 lbs, and stand for several hours.
- Knowledge of SEO and social media analytics tools
