As a growing company, we are looking for a Data Engineer to help us optimize our ETL pipelines and data observability. You will report to our Director of Engineering and be a necessary member of an amazing team that is using the latest web and data technologies to develop the FHIR API standard to access patient electronic health record data for the digital healthcare industry.

You will:

• Develop scalable data platforms and ETL pipelines
• Run test cases and code reviews to improve data quality
• Work with the analytics team to build and implement deployment processes for both internal and external analytics software and products
• Work with a team to bring patient healthcare data together to affect future health outcomes

We are looking for people who have:

• 3+ years of experience working within data engineering and data operations
• Proficient in Python
• Experience with big data tools (e.g. Databricks)
• Experience with SQL
• Familiarity with data science tools (e.g. Jupyter Notebooks)
• Experience working in a cloud ecosystem (we use AWS)
• Experience working with unstructured datasets
