We are actively seeking a Software Project Manager to join our program/product leadership team located in Mount Laurel, NJ. This position is classified as <50% telework and may have a predefined, regular, recurring onsite schedule. A government security clearance (“Secret” level) is required prior to start, therefore only candidates with U.S. citizenship may be considered.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight responsibility across Agile teams.
• Development of software release schedules.
• Cost Account Management (CAM).
• Manage computer program deliveries (internal and external).
• Work across functional boundaries to collaboratively plan, status, and track software development efforts.
• Maintain focused responsibility for a specific program/product.
• Adhere to computer program standards and processes.
• Oversee releasability reviews.
• Manage/develop software related documentation deliveries to external customers.
• Assist milestone preparations (Technical Interchange Meetings, In-Depths, Software Increment Reviews, In-Process Reviews, Joint Technical Reviews, etc.) by preparing & presenting (metrics & status).

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar Engineering/Technical field.
• Three or more years’ experience leading/managing teams in an Agile environment.
• Three or more years’ experience with software development methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the “Secret” level prior to start (requires U.S. citizenship).

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated project leadership skills, ability to work independently and lead team.
• Experience as an Agile Team Lead (Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, etc.).
• Earned Value Management experience
• Atlassian Tools suite applications.
• Well versed with system and software engineering processes throughout a program lifecycle.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
