Hours: 35 hours/ 8:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday based on a 40 week school calendar, paid over 52 weeks

Position Summary: Work collaboratively with PSCD General Education Pre-K teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and adapt to meet the needs of children with special needs as per IEP goals. Responsible for writing quarterly, regression, and annual progress reports. Communicate with related service providers and families frequently. Participate in team and annual review meetings. Supervise Teaching Assistant. Mandated reporter.

Physical Requirements: This job requires working with young children in a school setting. This position requires working with young children who may need help with self-help skills including toileting/diapering, lifting up to 50 pounds, running, etc These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to perform the job's essential functions successfully. - Continue professional development including 30 hrs training for OCFS
