Role and Responsibilities need to perform :

• 
  Gather business requirements from client business teams pertaining to various healthcare systems and develop use cases in JIRA (JIRA is a software development management tool that helps teams identify, track and manage their work) for Billing, Finance and Provider Services for deployment across multiple Anthem Healthcare portals.

• Analyze the requirements based on several defined business rules and segregate Membership, Provider, Claims, Billing and Payment Requirements for multiple stakeholders within Anthem; Document requirements on enhancements and new functionalities in Confluence

• Execute the system integration test procedures using the test scripts from the Quality Analysts team and write complex join queries in SQL Developer.

• Work with Test Data Management team for the test data needs and create test data requests in JIRA; Data quality is Anthem’s # 1 focus in its digital transformation and is achieved by creating a subset of production like data by identifying all possible data scenarios is very critical in ensuring end to end data quality from source systems to target system.

• Identify/monitor/route the defects reported in JIRA to the correct development team for effective defect management.

• Ensure that test strategy, test plans, test evaluation summary document, test suite for future testing of the service and related documentation are available in Confluence page created for that particular service;

• Coordinate with the testing team on the business side and schedule the internal and external business reviews on SIT Test cases to ensure the best coverage;

• Create/review the system Integration test conditions / expected results / scripts and communicate the gaps.

• Host Defect Triage calls for quick resolutions.

• Testing is an important stage in the SDLC models which defines the overall quality of the project. This stage refers to the testing only stage of the product where product defects are reported, tracked, fixed and retested, until the product reaches the quality standards defined in the Requirement specifications.

• Work with Quality Analysts to create the automation scripts for the scenarios identified for Functional and Regression testing automation, using SOAP UI and POSTMAN tools for the REST and SOAP services.

• Ensure that automated scripts are executed to test each functionality available in SIT (environment) and Regression testing is run on-demand and detailed test reports are shared with execution Leads when ever asked for or needed.

• Provide production support activities, such as data-mining, report creation that assists in business decision-making, day-today processes monitoring, timely fixing of production problems encountered, data-fixing and troubleshooting of issues for business users and business analysts.

• Interact regularly with the Managers, Database administrators, Network Administrators, and Application Users from different departments and divisions to ensure smooth running of applications.

• Testing and Deployment of product in Production are important stages in the SDLC model. Once the testing scripts are automated and tested, product deployment happens in stages as per the business strategy. After the product is released in the market, its maintenance is done for the existing customer base by fixing IT related issues and bugs that may come up during the production phase.

Minimum education necessary to perform the above responsibilities: This position requires a candidate with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
