Studio Location: Color Me Mine Calabasas

Part-time position

HOURS: Tuesday thru Friday 11am - 4pm. + weekends.

Color Me Mine Calabasas is looking for a part-time Staff Associate to join our team. Must have availability to work the following specific days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Minimum Qualifications:

Weekend and holiday availability are a must! Potential candidate must be available some weekdays as well. Applicants must be willing to host parties and events for children and adults. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working at the restaurant or high traffic capacity retail highly preferred and recommended. **Ability to work In a fast environment and multitasking. Creativity is encouraged and recognized in all aspects of the business. A friendly demeanor and pleasant disposition are required.

Duties Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Sales and Customer Service
• Ability to glaze ceramics, load/unload ceramics into the kiln
• Great attention to detail
• All staff associates often host birthday parties, team-building events, bridal showers, etc. Our staff associates are required to take turns being the party hostess! You will be in charge of setting up the party room, greeting the party guests, and explaining the process to the entire group (children/adults). For the next 2 hours, you will refill paint, help the painters with techniques, pass out food, and do anything else the party customer would like us to assist.
• Greet and determine the needs of every customer that walks through the door.
• Learn and know every product, paint technique inside and out and be able to recommend what works best.
• Be comfortable speaking on the phone. All staff associates follow up with customers on the phone regarding party booking or arrangements, custom events or to let them know their ceramics are ready for pickup.
• Keep the shelves fully stocked at all times. Make sure what is on the sales floor is clean or dust free and merchandised properly
• Daily maintain and clean and well-organized studio
• Must be able to lift up to 25-30 pounds
• Stand/Walk for 5-7 hours a day
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work safely as defined by company safety standards and procedures
• Must be able to open or close studio on your own

Hours per week:

• May vary on availability and business needs. However, current position that we are looking to fill-in now 30-35 hours per week including weekends and holidays.
