Stocker / Ecomm

JOB PURPOSE: To deliver on the mission of Wilco by profitably providing superior customer service.
JOB SUMMARY:* The Wilco stocker prepares merchandise for the sales floor and stocks products as directed by the stocking process and Lead Stocker. The stockers provide product information, answers customer questions and assists customers find the appropriate store specialist if need be. They will support the Lead Stocker in reaching store goals and participate in general cleaning and maintenance of the retail facility.*

Essential Responsibilities:

• Correctly stock merchandise utilizing established stocking and merchandising process.
• Maintain store orderliness and cleanliness utilizing established standards.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of backstock merchandise and work areas.
• Properly communicate stock discrepancies, bin tag needs and quality issues with appropriate store staff.
• Participate in generating store-wide pick lists and working them to completion.
• Maintain stocking log.
• Participate in pulling special orders and/or special-order handling as assigned.
• Participate in system and merchandise processes as assigned.
• Maintain and comply with established retail standards.
• Ensure that customers are greeted, and their needs matched with the relevant person or department.
• Participate in team meetings as required.

Special Skills/Training

• Skill at product recognition.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to operate a computer and other automated office machines.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.

Physical Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Regular bag/bale lifting.
• Prolonged standing and repetitive bending.

• Indoor/outdoor work.
