PPP partners with program managers to analyze and interpret data, assess service delivery and program effectiveness, apply learning from data analysis and feedback into program improvement efforts, and develop program resources to strengthen operations and service delivery.

About the Position
PPP seeks a Supervising Performance Analyst for Health and Wellness to promote excellence through performance measurement, analysis, documentation reviews, report production, collecting participant feedback, synthesizing and reporting information to guide management decisions, and being a thought partner to program management on operational and programmatic improvement.
This position will support all the programs in our Health and Wellness Branch including our health home care management team, care coordination program for children in foster care, mental health clinic, home and community-based services (HCBS) and Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS). Together, these programs offer services to support the health, mental health, and overall wellbeing of the children we serve, most of whom have engagement with the child welfare system.
This position will support program leadership and staff to make decisions to improve programmatic and operational performance. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical knowledge, superior program/data analysis capabilities and a strong understanding of how non-profit management decision making can be supported by timely and reliable data. The candidate will also have the ability to review, analyze, interpret and succinctly summarize information from diverse sources, including program documentation, focus groups, and surveys in ways that are easily understood and actionable.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to program leadership through strategic thinking, planning, and data analysis to support programmatic decisions. This includes partnering with program leaders in regular meetings to support best practices and helping program leaders gain insights and determine areas that require additional planning.
  • Supervise at least one part time Case Record Reviewer, and potentially an addition position, including co-creating performance goals, coaching to support performance progress and success, and ensuring high quality and collaborative work.
  • Compile data, produce regular outcomes and performance measurement reports, and summarize and interpret information to guide programmatic decision-making and strengthen program performance.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses in partnership with program leadership to help managers better understand performance success and concerns.
  • Coordinate and prepare for audits and other accountability reviews from City or State agencies in close collaboration with program and administrative staff.
  • Support the incident review process, high risk case review, monthly maltreatment reviews, investigatory, and related compliance and safety processes to ensure appropriate oversight and accountability of services.
  • Support implementation and use of electronic health records (EHR).
  • Effectively communicate findings, present data in meetings, facilitate discussions and workgroups, and coach program supervisors on understanding and interpreting data.
  • Partner with program management to identify and develop additional resources and materials to support the strengthening of programmatic operations and service delivery.
  • Other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in non-profit management, public administration, business administration, public policy, or other related field, or bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years relevant experience.
  • Experience working in performance measurement and management, and excellent quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills including an ability to review, analyze, interpret and succinctly summarize information from diverse sources, including documents, focus groups, and surveys.
  • Dedication to our mission and a belief that children and families can succeed regardless of their circumstances.
  • Willingness to travel throughout NYC, as needed.
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of SQL or PowerBI a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with NYC mental health services, public health, care coordination, child welfare, or related fields a plus.
  • Experience supervising is a plus, but not required.

$60,000- $65,000 + Merit Pay + Benefits
Location
This position will be primarily remote, with an expectation of regular but flexible in-person workdays in either Downtown Brooklyn, upper Manhattan, and the Bronx.
