Position Mission:

Reporting to the VP of Procurement, this position is responsible for overseeing US Automotive Group supplier diversity program by leading, monitoring, and procurement opportunities for diverse suppliers. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal stakeholders (supply chain, contract accounts, etc.) as well as with professional and community organizations to attract, develop, and sustain diverse suppliers.

Position Performance Measures (List the key Performance indicators):

• Lead responsible for setting diverse supplier strategy and targets across Category and Sourcing
• Track, monitor and report out on Supplier Diversity Metric’s including

o Diverse Spend: How much money your company is spending with diverse suppliers

o Diverse Count: The number of diverse suppliers that your company contracts with

o Revenue Impact: Your program’s impact on revenue earned and projected

o Deals Won/Lost: How many diverse suppliers were contracted within the stipulated timeframe

Responsibilities:

• Develops and recommends supplier diversity program guidelines, policies and procedures; including review, revision and maintenance of supplier diversity policies and procedures as required
• Drive management, execution, and development of the Supplier Diversity Program by tracking diversity spend in accordance with the Company's goals
• Manage various supplier diversity initiatives to ensure compliance with corporate and customer requirements
• Manages database and leverages external diverse supplier databases to maintain data integrity for internal and external reporting requirements
• Lead training/awareness programs for internal stakeholders on supplier diversity
• Maintain comprehensive supplier diversity analytics and reporting
• Prepares reports documenting program compliance and progress towards established goals; participates in establishing and monitoring of annual supplier diversity goals
• Attends supplier diversity forums, trade shows and diverse business association meetings
• Prepare executive level presentations for the Supplier Diversity Program

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a supply chain management or business/finance discipline
• 5+ years of relevant or related work experience in Procurement/Sourcing
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated analytical skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including being able to speak and facilitate effectively

• Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, MS Power Bi, etc. a plus
• Ability to interpret data into information and create intuitive reports
• Great organizational and follow-up skills
• Capable of working independently (Self-starter / self-motivated)
• Acts with honesty and integrity with employees, customers and stakeholders
• Facilitates decision-making within area of responsibility
• Makes decisions in a timely manner and drives results
