Position Responsibilities performed under general supervision to complete milestones associated with specific projects:
Perform activities related to the Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) aspects of the products and systems developed in RMS.
Specific efforts can include:

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Interface with system and element design
level analysis/design and board level
predictions as applicable
- Perform Reliability and Maintainability (R&M)
systems using RMA software based tools
- Prepare system, element, and equipment
requirements.
- Interpret statistical data derived from failure
- Identify RMA problems, conducting physics of
- Perform Failure Reporting and Corrective Action activities (FRACAS).
- Actively engage with system design engineers in the development of new designs/configurations.
- Develop high availability architectures for
- Participate in system/element design reviews,
and with other contractors.
- Acquire and integrate unit level RMA data
- Conduct R&M testing and statistical evaluation of test data.
- Review equipment failure data, identify RMA
- Execute Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and Fault Tree Analyses.
- Prepare formal reports and presentations to
analyses and assessments.
- Interface with various program offices/customer and be responsible for leading a complete job
- Complete predictions and be able to discuss R&M areas of improvements with design engineers
- Optimize sparing based on system architectures, reliability predictions, and deployment profiles
- Partner with system design team and develop
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; reliability engineering; or equivalent degree.
- Strong leadership, administrative, and
- Able to work independently or as a member
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
- Must be able to obtain & maintain a secret security clearance. Obtaining a security clearance requires US citizenship.
- Prior coursework or relevant experience in reliability and maintainability
